Back from the printer: PrivatSea's 2019 edition

Writer: Charlotte Charlotte

Updated: May 27, 2019

It's always a pleasure to work on PrivatSea's annual magazine. That said, what's not to like? Inspiring travel features, intriguing architecture, the latest in design - and of course, some of the world's most beautiful yachts, all packaged in a gorgeous large-format title. This is the third edition I've worked on - and the second as editor - so opening that box of freshly minted copies has come to be a warmly anticipated event come spring.

In this issue, I write about some of the top Michelin-star restaurants in eastern Asia, from Singapore's Odette to Duddell's in Hong Kong (I guarantee your stomach will be rumbling after reading - you can do so here). In today's increasingly conscious world, Jonathan Bell explores the rise of eco-friendly yachts, while Nargess Banks reveals the marques bringing back modern-classic cars. Elsewhere, Ellie Stathaki goes on the up in the world's most luxurious penthouses, as Gemma Price ditches summer swimwear for winter layers, heading north in search of cold clime cruising.

We are all very happy with the choice of cover this year too (I do like a graphic cover). Despite our production editor's concerns that all that black ink would make a bit of a mess, our printer did a great a job as ever - no grubby fingers for you.
